2291.1I have the .exeWOODRO::LEIMBERGERWed Mar 01 1989 05:2310
    I can't really explain the whole process,but I can help.I maintain
    a small directory with the executables I use in dealing with files
    of this nature.I have copied them to a public directory along with
    the .COM files that I use to run them.You should be able to substitute
    your personal data in the command files,define the .exe files as
    non vax commands and uncode your .uue files with no problem.I can't
    keep the files out long so please send me Email CSS::leimberger,or
    call 264-6296 for a pointer to the files and any other help you
    may need.

    I apologise for being ambigous. I want documentation on SPOOLER,
    not UUE. Thanks for the offer anyway.

    OK, give up.

    Can anybody tell me how to use Spooler. Or does anybody else have
    a background print spool utility?

    Depends on which one you have. Francois Gagnon's is about the best
    I have seen since it does not modify the PRT: device needed by other
    applications. There are two programs involved: The first is called
    SPOOL which you run from your startup-sequence. The second is called
    PRINT which has a variety of qualifiers that you probably would
    want to define in your shell-startup as aliases. For example, I
    have these defined:

    ALIAS SHO/QUEUE PRINT -REPORT
    ALIAS PRINT/ELITE PRINT -NUMBER -CPI12 -LPI8 []
    ALIAS PRINT/PICA PRINT -NUMBER -CPI10 -LPI6 []

2291.5PRINTSPOOL from FF154, where?AKOV11::SMITHEd...Fri Mar 31 1989 17:2913
    re: -1

    The spooler you seem to have is the one on FF154 however I can't
    seem to find FF154 or PRINTSPOOL (Francois Gagnon's) on the NET
    anywhere. Can someone please upload FF154 or at least the
    PRINTSPOOL utility (or point me to a location on the NET it's
    available.)

    Thanx,

2291.8Problem with TABSDECWET::DAVISMark Davis - 206.865.8749Fri Dec 29 1989 03:418
    I am having a problem with printing my C listings using the Lattice
    Screen Editor and Gagnon's spooler. I have my TABS set at four spaces
    in the LSE but when I print them they are 8 spaces. My printouts become
    almost unreadable. Is there some way to compress the tabs on printing
    in preferences or elswhere? I am using a LA75 with the LA50 driver
    from the net. Thanks in advance.

re: .8

There is an option that you can set with the LSEINST program that
causes tabs to be expanded into spaces. That's what I use
and printed stuff comes out fine.
