Hello, My internal A500 drive sounds terrible, so I have a question: What have I to do, if I want to use a NEC 1037A raw-drive as my internal A500 Floppy drive? What jumpers must be set (or not)? thanks, Jochen

Can't answer your question but before you go to NEC product you may want to consider this. I have heard the have poor to terrible customer support. You may want to consider some other vendors. -Paul | |||||

Interesting ... I have two NEC floppy drives in my 2000. They can be purchased under the product name PROdrive from Progressive Peripherals and Software out in Denver. Most of the local Amiga shops carry them. The NEC is extremely reliable, quiet, and has a dust flap! |
