Anyone know how I can convert DPaint files to Sixel for printing
on the VAX?
I have tried uploading the files and running CSIX on them but it
produces an access violation. Am I doing something wrong or are the
DPaint files not IFF? I think I read in this notes file somewhere that
the DPaint files are compressed.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

CSIX should work. Did you define it as a foreign command:
CSIX :== $disk:[dir]CSIX
^--- dollar sign is important.

Yes Steve, CSIX does the job. My problem was a corrupt file on
the upload. I left out the SET FILE TYPE BINARY on VMS Kermit;
I have generally found it unnecessary for downloading but it seems
important for uploading.
