I installed the 68020/68881 yesterday. I am amazed. Certain programs
really zip, especially Professional Page and Orbits. I haven't found
any incompatibilities yet, so no real need to revert back to 68000
mode. However, I did make the change with regard to the positioning
of my GVP 40Q hardcard (which now takes up three slots YUCK!). The
problem there is that if the hardcard is not the first card from
the left with the 2620 installed, you cannot boot in 68000 mode.
I can spare the two wasted slots for now until GVP and CBM issues
new proms.
