hi - is there any utility around for encrypting data files I am doing some programming for a friend and he asked if it is possible to "scramble" data in a random-access file created from amiga basic... I'm sure I remember seeing something along those lines on the extras disks but for the life of me - I cant find it! ideas??? Phil

Great - I have a mate with a copy of this - does it have any sort of snapshot beast to convert DPaint II screens or similar to IFF? A long shot - just thought I'd Ask Phil | |||||

Just a note for anyone else who may need to use file encryption I used GIZMOZ file Encryption utility and all it does is encrypt and de-encrypt a file - you CAN NOT read the file whilst it is encrypted which is not a lot of use - I really need something I can use to encrypt data - then define field values of all records and compile this into an object..... I guess thats asking too much |
