The ST Emulator is a joke, literally. It was done in retalaiation
for an 'Amiga Emulator' that made the rounds of the Atari networks
a few years ago. The Amiga Emulator would present a jittery screen
asking for a Workbench disk. Any user action resulted in a Guru.
The ST Emulator presents a GEM desktop. When the user clicks the
mouse, a number of chrerry bombs are presented. Cherry bombs are
the ST equivelent of a Guru.

is 3.10. Among other places, you can find it on:

I believe you will find that Readysoft is claiming that they will
be coming out with a MAC emulator written by some guy in New Zealand.
They currently sell a C64 emulator.
There was something on usenet a while ago about somebody writing
a MSDOS.DEVICE so that you could access MS-DOS disks, it was going
to be shareware I think.

ReadySoft did show a Mac emulator at AmiExpo. It currently uses
128K ROMs, but when Fat Agnus goes to 1 meg, it will accept 256K
ROMS.
They claimed it ran 10-20% faster than a Mac SE.
This is all vapor and heresay until such a gadget appears on the
shelves. However, given the irrefutable evidence that Magic Sac
and Spectre do indeed work on the Atari ST, I believe that it will
happen.

Is this then hardware and software? If it's hardware I hope it will
fit in an Amiga 1000.

Just to squelch a rumor: I am not Ed Acciardi on a time delay. His
reply (.1) about the ST Emulator written yesterday (I just read it)
reads just like the reply I wrote today to the note on the BBC
emulator.
I wonder if Ed and I can do one of these "Mysteries of the Unknown"
Time-Life Book commercials together?
