| 2148.1 | Great if you have BSD UNIX | LEVERS::PLOUFF | Wes Plouff | Tue Jan 24 1989 09:22 | 8 |
DNET is a nifty set of programs written by Matt Dillon which allows
you to talk to a Berkeley UNIX host. You can run multiple sessions
in multiple windows, do file copies, etc. People on Usenet who
mention it really love it. Trouble is, you gotta have UNIX with
sockets. Porting the host end to VMS would, I fear, take a real
wizard. Converting the host end to Ultrix would take -- ??

... wouldn't take much time. Because ULTRIX is based on BSD (combined with
few SYS V progs) there is no problem to port DNET.
The problem for me is to get one part of DNET-Amiga. I have complete sources
for the UNIX side - but for the Amiga side is one part missing (the
last one). Where can I get it?
