Ferrari formula I by Electronic Arts? does not work with kickstart
1.3. If your thinking of getting it, don't bother...... unless someone
out there knows of a way of overcoming this problem. I'm at a loss
about what to do except for maybe getting a hold of E.A and asking
them if they've got something in the works.
The game loads fine and you can tune the car to your hearts
delight but the moment you get on the race track the screen blanks
and you lose the sound. Guru errors report illegal instruction or
bad address; when you get a guru error that is.

Works great with my Kickstart 1.3, perhaps your version is bad?
Is it a A2000? then, check your ROM, if not check your copy?
Perhaps the version of the game?

I'm not sure of the game version but it does not run on other
A2000's ( I have an A2000 ) that I have tested it on. It does run on
A500's with kickstart 1.2. I'll check the revision of my game. Do
you know the revision of your game and when you got it?

I had the same problem when I tried to run it on a 2000 w/1.3 roms
I bought my game some time last June. So, I just play it on my
1000 and 1.2 Kickstart. Don't know what to tell you. When I was
looking for it last June, I played it for a few minutes on a 2000,
that was useing 1.2 roms, so it worked. I would gather then that
the problem stems from 1.3 roms. Why, I dunno

Just to add my 2 cents. I just purchased the game and it runs fine on
my 2000 with 1.3 Roms. I don't know if my this is a newer release than
mentioned in -.1 but I'm just glad it works.
