Steve, there is no way to reach via E-Mail, so the only chance I have are notes
( I'm sorry for other friends ).
Here I attach the message I tried to send you many times before using
conferences.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Steve,

I'm very happy to inform you that your precious suggestions were very
useful for me during my Christmas holidays in U.S.

Apart of the beautiful things I saw in California, Nevada and Arizona, I
spent a lot of time in Amiga Centers looking for the add on's for my 2000.

 Finally I bought:

 	1) GVP Impact SCSI/RAM 1MB Controller with Autoboot Roms
 	2) ST277N Seagate 65MB SCSI Hard Disk
 	3) Kickstart 1.3
 	4) Supra Modem 2400

 It was great ... !!!!!

Back in Italy I immediately upgraded the system. All was OK with the
esclusion of GVP Controller; In this sense:

The Autoboot is performed very well and the disk runs well but probably there
is a little problem of conflits between RAM.
Infact my Amiga was configured as follows:

 	- 512KB of Ram on the Mother Board
 	- 512KB on an expansion card (original by Commodore)

Whit this second card inside the Impact does not allow the boot of the system.
Without this card the system boots ( reaching the total amount of 1.5 MB )
but some applications don't run. In particular every time I try to print
 something I face the guru.

At GVP in Pennsylvania a very kind guy, George Rapp, informed me that I
probably had an old version of PAL's on the board and he promised to send me
immediately in Italy the new ones.

So now I am looking at my postbox four times a day !!!

I want to thank you again for your help and I am waiting to know your own
experiences in the upgrade you planned in December for your system.

I hope that this mail will reach you and to exchange with you great
 experiences.

 Ciao.
 							Alfredo
