    Well, you may all be very proud to have note number 2000 or note
    number 2048 or some such trivial accomplishment, but I HAVE POSTED
    THE FIRST NOTE OF 1989!!!!  Hah!
    
    Actually, I finally got around to uploading a great program that
    I've been sitting on for a while...
    
    CLIPIT is the perfect complement to SNIPIT.  CLIPIT lets you 'clip'
    any section of any custom screen and save it as an IFF brush.  Your
    clip appears as a movable window with a title and a close gadget.  This
    clip window can be sent to the custom screen from which it was clipped,
    or sent to Workbench where it's pallette is quickly remapped to
    the Workbench colors.  You can have up to five clips stored at once.
    The CLIPIT window is iconifiable (if there is such a word).
    
    This great freeware program is by Mike Scalora of WordPerfect Corp.
    
    The file is currently in NORSE""::AMIGA:[UPLOAD] and is called
    CLIPIT11.ARC.  The file is in fixed 128 byte format for XMODEM
    downloading.

    PS:   Please don't feel bad because my social life is such a disaster
          that I'm here noting on New Year's Eve.  It's just that my wife
          is sleeping like a corpse, and I have enough energy for a few more
          hours of frolicking with my Amiga.

    Unless a neighbour drops in and UNPLUG your AMIGA your social life
    may NOT be considered a disaster :-)
    
    BTW, are you aware of the fact that since the introduction of C=64
    the population in Italy is drammatically dropping down ?!
    (home computers can even affect the Italian-lovers performances!)
