1836.1 | Can AZcomm do 48 line terminals? | COOKIE::WECKER | Good old 6844A7B7A5000965D0 | Sun Nov 06 1988 19:43 | 7 |

Are there any REAL docs for AZcomm? As far as I can tell there is no way
to get it to run in 48 line/interlace mode... is this true?
(I hope you can... the Zmodem feature makes it a REAL winner)

As near as I can tell, there aren't any real docs for it. This
came as part of the comp.binaries.amiga postings from page@lowell.

1836.4 | ZMODEM problems | MIST::TBAKER | Tom Baker - DECwest CSSE | Mon Nov 14 1988 20:13 | 14 |
| I've been having problems downloading with ZMODEM from AZcomm.
While transfering a file I get bumped off every 2-3 minutes with
timeout or garbage characters. The recovery function works fine
but I have to restart the transfer about 8 times for a 400 block
file. This certainly cancels any speed advantage I hoped to gain
with ZMODEM. I seem to have good phone lines. I have absolutely
no problems transfering files with KERMIT or XMODEM from Smokey 1.1a
or HandShake 2.1a.
Has anyone else seen this problem? Is there something I need to
do for ZMODEM that I don't for KERMIT or XMODEM?
thanks,
tom
