I recently did the Commodore "trade-up-to-a-2000" deal at the Memory location. This is not in itself remarkable, but what happened last night was: I got a call from Commodore asking how I liked my new A2000! Not only that, they asked why I chose it and what CHANGES I would like done to it! This is the first time I have heard of Commodore doing a customer survey or following up with new customers. This sort of action can not help but build good will with the growing customer base and help with "word of mouth" sales. Has anyone else had an experience with Commodore contacting them? Thanks, -SES

I was recently contacted by Commodore, though not by telephone. They returned a check I had sent them, saying that they didn't know what I was ordering. I sent them back the check, explaining that it was to pay for the modem which they had replaced, even though it was out of warranty. They cashed the check without further comment. John Sauter |
