1764.0. "Sinking fast, need a helping hand." by JACOB::SHEYNER () Mon Oct 10 1988 17:55
Hi,
I've entered a note for my friend, (1699) for a sale of Amiga
1000 system. He didn't had any luck selling it, and now he is looking
for a name of a local dealer who will buy his system. He really
needs money ASAP and all your help will be appreciated.
He asked $800 for his system, but he isn't sure if it is worth
this much. The following is the listing of his harware configuration:
Amiga 1000 with 512 RAM catridge
1080 Video
3.5 external drive
5.25 external drive
+ some various software, but there isn't much.
If anybody knows the name of the dealers, and if the price he is
asking is OK? Please reply ASAP. Thank you.
Alex.

One good way to sell it quick and at current prices is to
deal with the Memory Location. They will tell you how much it is
worth and for a percentage they will sell it for you.
The software shop has also been known to take used equipment
on trade-in for new systems. I'll bet Moe would offer to buy it.
