1734.0. "Lattice question" by SMAUG::SPODARYK (Scaring the pedestrians...) Sun Oct 02 1988 22:49
I've been using my Lattice 3.03, and having fairly good luck.
(Of course I'm now used to gurus and rebooting every so often )^:
I've written a simple program to manipulate 3-d wireframe objects
using matrix math. The problem is that the floating point
calculations are miserably slow.
Upon looking through the ROM Kernal Manual #1, I found the
math ffp routines. I have made the switch, but the file that
I need to link with ( MATHLINK.LIB ) is nowhere to be found.
Are these routines worthwhile using, and where can I find the .lib?
Since its mentioned in the manual I'm suprised that its not on
the disk(s).
Also, whats the best way to double buffer using a window?
Can I create 2 BitMaps and 2 RPorts and change the window pointers?
I can see more gurus in the immediate future!
Thanks,
Steve
