1688.0. "AMIGA -> LN03R ??" by SHIRE::GANGUILLET () Thu Sep 15 1988 07:50
Hello,
I'm trying to print Professional Page postscript files
to a LN03R directly connected to my Amiga 1000
I've connected the printer through the serial port of the
Amiga, when I want to print it seems to be all right
the printer says busy, but nothing comes out !
Is there a particular set up to use i.e.: Handshacking,
Xon-Xoff, or a switch to change inside the LN03R ?
Or maybee it's only the cable ?
Any advice ?, thanks in advance
E.G.

| I've seen a standard LN03 do that on a single page of info. You need to send a
FF (Form Feed) to eject the page. Postscript? I don't know.

| I've just found the solution:
The baud rate was 4800 on the printer and 9600 on the Amiga !
Thanks

| An LN03R will take several minute to create a PostScript page. Did
you wait long enough? Also, you should see the lightning bolt and
the number '6' on the LN03R while the file is printing.
