1662.1 | Supra & Starboard = No Problem | LEDS::ACCIARDI | Heisenberg may have slept here | Tue Sep 06 1988 09:11 | 10 |

I had a StarboardII and a Supra SCSI adaptor attached to my A1000
for over a year with no problems. However, the Supra insisted on
being first on the buss. Some people did have grounding problems
with the Starboard.
Good luck buying 256K DRAMS.

| re: rodent
did your mouse die? I don't know if the C64 mouse is the same,
I believe that was a goal when they made the cheaper mouse for the
A500/A2000. Last I heard the C64 mouse came in couple versions,
the original was joystick emulation, the next model was switchable
between joystick and proportional. Possibly proportional means
2 pots, not the quadrature signals that the Amiga mouse sends.
You might want to check the C64 notesfile for more details.

1662.3 | Can't use C64 mouse on Amiga | BOMBE::MOORE | Where do you go when you're Toad Away? | Tue Sep 06 1988 22:34 | 7 |
| The 1350 mouse is strictly joystick emulation.
The 1351 supports both joystick and proportional modes.
NEITHER will work as a mouse for the Amiga.
I have seen a newer model (1352, I think) which does everything
like the 1351 on C64/128 *and* works for Amiga too. Price was
around the $60 range, about the same as a regular Amy mouse ($65).
