I have it on pretty good authority that the 1.3 manuals have been
printed and have been seen sitting in Westchester.
The Software Shop thinks they'll have official packages in a few
more weeks.

| In the Bix developer's sources area (the restricted one) the
Omega 7/8 (Kickstart/WB) were posted about Aug 1 and WB Omega 9
mid-August. Manuals are supposedly being printed now.
I think October to mid November is realistic. Afterall, how long
does SDC take to get an update out the door?

| A lot of things are coming in the fall including the new chip set,
the video toaster, various internal modems, etc. Save those pennies.

| Called the Memory Location again yesterday and they said that this past Tuesday
they got their second shipment of 1.3's, but alas, they're sold out again.
However, the Software Shop in Worcester has them in again for $24. I picked up a
couple (one for a friend) but I don't know how many they have in stock. Good

| 1.3 isn't going to be released in the UK for a while yet. Any chance
of someone in the states puchasing it for me if I send the necessary
funds ?
Is it worth buying the new kickstart ROMS aswell as the new disks?

I just got the last 1.3 Upgrade kit from The Software Shop in
Worchester. They said they would be getting another shipment in
sometime during this week.
RE: .7 - The kickstart ROMS aren't available yet and only would
only be worthwhile getting if you have a hard disk drive for the
time being.

The 1.3 kickstart ROMS have been at the Memory Location since about
2 weeks before the 1.3 enhancer package. I believe the price is
$45, and if you want them to install and test it add another $25.

| I was up at System Eyes in N.H. yesterday and he still has 1.3 WB
available. He also said he has 1.3 roms. Phone is 603-889-1234
