    There is a glossy UK computer games magazine which actually shows up
    here in the States.  Sorry, name forgotten.  Their focus is on games in
    general, not just for Amiga.  They often compare the same game on
    different machines.  They also print a sample screen or two for
    every game reviewed.

That is Computer + video Games and the statement is
printed on the cover. Hmmm...

    My recommendations for magazines available in the UK are:-
    
    b)	Tranactor for the Amiga, available by subscription, but I have
    	seen it in some newsagents
    
    	Program Now, a bit more 'techie' than some other mags, it does
    	cover machines other than IBM clones and MS/DOS
    
    	Your Amiga, probably the best of the local Amiga mags
