1536.0. "BREACH" by RBW::WICKERT (MAA DIS Consultant) Wed Jul 13 1988 15:46

Any other players of the game BREACH out there?

I just picked it up the other night and finished the first scenario
(breeder) last night. So far I'm having a good time. It reminds me of a
boardgame called AMBUSH in that you control a squad of men with each
marine having different characteristics and carrying items.

The ability to have a squad leader "grow" from scenario to scenario
    is great.

    Anyone do any custom scenarios?

Yeah, I picked it up a while ago. I've just started back into
it. I did grab two custom scenarios off of PLINK. I'll try to
        upload them soon.

The game is pretty good. I've gone through about three
scenarios. I wish I knew the difficulty level of the various
scenarios supplied with the disk. The manual only rates a few.

I've got it too. They also have a scenerio disk for sale. The company
has just released another game, Palidin (sic). Its the same game,
but with a fantasy orientation. By 'the same game', I really mean
the same game. They didn't have to do much programming to change
it, other than rename some of the weapons and add a bit of magic.

    Re .2

Yeah. According to a friend of mine who has both. They're essentially
the same thing, but they improved the user interface a bit with
Paladin. I bought Paladin, and love it. Hope the scenarios start
    showing up for it.
