    I am getting a litter short on disks. So, would anyone be interested
    in getting some disks? If we can gather a large order, maybe we
    can buy direct from Sony (like I did last time) and get good quality
    disks cheap? Anyone interested? Also who's got the phone number
    for Sony?

    I'll take 50 disks.

    Seeing this note reminded me. Caldor's has Sony 3.5" DS/DD disks
    on sale this week 10 for $17.00 includes a plastic box. Not great but
    not bad either...
1522.2anyone else want disks?LEDS::JUANWed Jul 20 1988 13:4221
The price of disks are, at this moment, $1.08 each. These disks are Sony
double sided double density disks (really high quality disks as they are
the original inventor of the 3" disks) packed in multiples of 50. The
shipping for each disk will be about $0.03 per each disk for UPS to me.There
are no labels for these disks and so you will have to get them yourselves.

Here is the list of people who have sent me mail or posted notes saying they
DEFINITELY want to buy disks, if you want to get on the list or get off the
list, please send me mail before Monday, July 25:

1522.3GOOD DISKS CHEAP!!!!STEREO::OPERATORWed Jul 20 1988 20:439
    LECHMERE ALMOST ALWAYS HAS SOME TYPE OF 3.5 DISKS ON SALE EVERY
    WEEK. YOU CAN GET A BOX OF 10 FOR ABOUT $15 TO $18 DEPENDING ON
    THE COMPANY. I USE SINGLE SIDED DISKS FOR ABOUT $12 A BOX, I HAVEN'T
    HAD ANY PROBLEMS FORMATING TO 880K DS ON MY A2000 SO FAR. THE NASHUA
    SEEM TO BE GOOD AND VERY INEXPENSIVE AT LECHMERE.

    Sorry folks, I have gathered a pretty large order before the deadline
    and the supplier may just have enough for what I have so far because
    there is a nationwide shortage of 3" disks. Sorry about it.

    re -1: I don't like Nashua disks from bad personal experience with
    it's 5" disks. I've run into too many problems with formatting
    single sided disks double sided it's not even funny.
