1492.0. "strange bug with VDK:" by VTHRAX::KIP (Explain the Universe and give 3 examples.) Wed Jun 22 1988 11:01
Does anyone use VDK: on a regular basis? If so, have you run into
the following?
Applied the recently posted patch to VDK: software to correct incorrect
block counts when using AmigaDOS "info" command.
Now, using vt100 r2.8, I change default directory to VDK:, attempt
to download a file to VDK:, and get "cannot create file" error.
If I pop a CLI and look in VDK:, the filename I tried to download
is there, but is empty. If I delete it and try again, get same
error. If I try again *with a different file name* it works!!!
I'm using ARP1.1 also, and am not sure if that has any bearing.
Thanks to everyone.

1492.1 | Can't LIST VDK: | AYOV10::ATHOMSON | C'mon, git aff! /The Kelty Clippie | Wed Jun 22 1988 11:12 | 6 |
| I use VDK: quite regularly, but as I don't have a modem I don't use
VT100, so I haven't seen that bug. I also have ARP. I have found
that I can't LIST VDK: the system just hangs, DIR VDK: is fine.
