| Send it to DECWRL::"comp.sys.amiga@USENET". What's it like to be on the
other end of the net again?? :-)

| or to be even more generic...decwrl::"news.group.name@usenet"
will do the trick...but the mail only interface makes it harder
to track specific topics, etc.

How does one "converse", as efficiently as we all do here in NOTES, on the
USENET?
This mailing to DECWRL seems (from the complaints I've heard) to be rather
undependable.

to send mail :-)

1455.4 | DECWRL works for me | SAUTER::SAUTER | John Sauter | Fri Jun 03 1988 10:01 | 6 |
| I've never had any trouble sending and receiving individual mail
messages through DECWRL. I've even sent some software, one mail
message per file, and all the files were received successfully.
I understand the news feeds are not as reliable as individual messages.

| I'll second it...mail is great...especiall since last fall, (or
whenever) that reah:: went away, and decwrl was upgraded...the gateways
notes file has lots of address pointers, but your right, the news
is a bit sporadic, no fault to Ed F. who runs the re-distrib
software-no easy task.
but the mail interface to usnet "news" is the best we got, unless
your on an ultrix machine with a direct feed...drool...;-)
