I'm starting a new note to list sources and contents of Easynet
Amiga File storage locations, to make it easier to locate those
great PD/Shareware stuff. If you don't mind people accessing your
system then please post the information here.
Were located in Western Canada connected to the world in a round-about
manner with the slowest part at 2400 baud, the timezone is Eastern
- 2 hours so be kind and pull files after 17:00 our time. We use
a MV2 with 2 RD53 drives (not quick but reliable).
Here's what we have stored on our system for Amiga software, it's
mostly categorized into directories. The files in directory NEW
are fairly recent aquisitions which have not yet been filed, so
they will move into another directory at some time. Have fun and
if you need a place to store a file or have a contribution just
move it into the NEW directory and/or let me know and we will look
after it. The space is not unlimited but should be ok for a while.

Sorry, but I dont have the time right now to do a weel commented
listing, but I try to grab most stuff that is posted as available.
General org is [.arc] for arc/zoo files from the easynet.
[.usenet] is all the shar/uue/etc files I scarf off usenet, and
all the [.ffxxx] are the fish disks put up here by steve.
again general courtesy is appreciated, as this is a boot member
for a lavc, as well as my GPX system...(for studious readers, also
are available on shaldu:: and possibly another node to be named
later.) Also, if I have to kill some FAL's to free resources, then
those are the breaks...
I'll be happy to add other stuff for those poor souls not having
the space, send email to work it out.

1812.ARC DMCS version of the 1812 Overture. Requires some non-DMCS
instruments.
ADDRESS.ARC A useful address book. Easy to use and maintain.
ANIM.ARC A program for viewing animations.
BACKGA.ARC A good implementation of one of my old favorites -
backgammon.
BERSERK.ARC Remember the Juggler? Some people think this is better!
BURGER.ARC Have a Big Mac Attack and get this icon. Use ICONTYPE to
change it. Right now its a DISK.INFO icon.
CANON.ARC Canon PJ1080A printer driver.
COLORCUBE.ARC A simple way to determine RGB codes for screen colors.
This utility makes it easy to set the foreground,
background, bold, and cursor colors of Wecker's VT100 or
Leibow's VT200 emulators.
COLOR.ARC An easy way to set your Workbench to either 1, 2, or 3
color planes. (3=8 colors, 2=4 colors, 1=2 colors)
DIFF.ARC Look at the differences between two files. DeARC the BUILD
batch file, then execute it. Everything will be done for
you.
EPSONLQ.ARC This is a fine LQ800 or LQ850 printer driver that supports
the four graphics densities that these printers are
capable of. I use it with my LQ850. Densities are set
in Preferences through different combinations of the
LETTER/DRAFT and 8 LPI/6 LPI settings. The READ.ME file
explains it all. A driver for the LQ1000 or LQ1050 is also
included. Thanks to Fred Kohler. This is a great driver
for V1.2 Preferences users. New LQ driver in V1.3.
GOMF.ARC That famous Guru basher (V1.0). Shareware!
HAGEND.ARC This is the now legendary BAGDE Killer Demo Contest winner.
A fabulous animation that will run on a 512K Amiga.
ICONIF.ARC I haven't looked too closely at this, but it contains
much info on iconification.
ICONTOOLS.ARC Contains ICONTYPE, ZAPICON, and ALTICON along with docs.
All the tools you need to create animated icons and change
the function of existing icons.
KAHNANKAS.ARC An extraordinary animation of clacking steel balls.
LABELS.ARC A simple labelmaker utility for standard-sized
(2 1/2" x 15/16") tractor-fed labels. Selectable for
one, two, or three labels across. This utility is
ideal for generating labels for monthly bills, since
it will optionally print sequential MmmYY in the upper left
corner of each label. I use it all the time.
LESS.ARC An enhanced version of MORE, but larger in size. Reads
text files in a full screen with various features including
online help.
MACH21.ARC The latest mouse accelerator, with hotkeys, sun mouse,
one or two click click-to-front, call coster, clock,
popcli, screen blanker, standard or military time, and
much more. Use this instead of PopCLI. V2.1 has a gadget-
laden screen for easy setup. I love this one!
MICROVAX.ARC An IFF and PS picture of the new MicroVAX 3500 and 3600.
MOVIE.ARC A utility to play all those neat animations like KAHNANKAS.
NAG17.ARC The latest and greatest appointment calendar that you run
as a background task. More features than V1.6.
NEWZAP.ARC V3.1 of the best PD disk editor around.
POPCLI2.ARC V2 of the handiest Amiga utility ever devised. See
POPCLI.TXT for sample startup-sequence command.
POPCLI3.ARC V3 of POPCLI. Blanks the screen with Qix graphics. Pretty
neat. I run this AND POPCLI2 concurrently.
POPCLI.TXT A sample startup-sequence for POPCLI.
PRTGEN22.ARC The latest printer driver generator program.
RUNBACK.ARC Use this to execute tasks in the background without tying
up a CLI window. Great for running out of your
startup-sequence. See START.ARC for a sample.
SHAR.ARC SH and SHAR (pack and unpack) USENET commands. DeARC the
BUILD file, and execute. Everything will be done for you.
IT GURUS MY MACHINE ALL THE TIME.
SNIPIT.ARC A great cut and paste utility that you should have for
your Workbench. It even works between a VT200 window
and a CLI window. The documentation has an error though.
You must hold down the CTRL key and Left Amiga key
together when clicking the mouse. The documentation
provided by the author erroneously omits the CTRL key.
SOUNDS.ARC Nice PD sound editor with sample sound files.
SOLITAIRE.ARC No Amiga hacker should be without this nice PD game.
Runs under AmigaBASIC.
START.ARC My old A1000 DF0:S/STARTUP-SEQUENCE file.
STARTLE.ARC If you like to use you Amiga for put home videos together,
this is a must have program. Reminiscent of Star Trek.
TIMSAV.ARC Program that you call from your startup-sequence file to
automatically set the time on your Amiga 1000 even if your
Time Saver is turned OFF. Also sets the time without the
need for a warm reboot after starting from power-on as is
the case with current Time Saver firmware.
UUENCO.ARC UUDECODE and UUENCODE for the Amiga. A way to convert
binary to ascii to allow for sending via email. DeARC
the BUILD file, and then execute it. Everything will be
done for you. These utilities are larger than the
UU* files found elsewhere in this directory due to certain
enhancements added to their functionality.
VIRUSCK.ARC Only a fool would say, "I don't need this program."
VT100.ARC The latest version of Wecker's "Hall of Fame" terminal
emulator (V2.8) with lot's of third party extras.
VT200.ARC Leibow's latest VT200 terminal emulator (V1.1A).

TCP1.UUE TCP software for the Amiga. Hams on Packet - get these
TCP2.UUE two files!
TITLE.UUE This allows you to place your own titles in the Workbench
titlebar. Instruction are in the first few lines -- so edit
them out before UUDECODEing.
USA1.UUE Just in case you want to purchase an Amiga 2000 keyboard
for use with your Amiga 1000. You'll need this keymap.
USHOW.UUE An IFF file viewer.

STEP.ZOO Speed up your disk drive head step rates considerably
with this fine utility. 1500 ticks is a good choice.
It also dramatically reduces drive-head chatter during
accesses. I run it out of my startup-sequence.
