Help me!, Please. I have been searching for the Latest IFF Specs, when I tracked them down to FF64. I was overjoyed when I finally found them, but to my dismay, OmniTek, the amiga distributer I got my amiga at, did not have this disk, so now I'm really bummed out. I don't want to wait weeks for the disk, so I was wondering If someone could either Upload it to the net for me, or get in contact with me and tell me where I might get a copy of it. Thankyou Bill. p.s. I work at ZKO.

Fred Fish disk 64 is on MVCAD3::user0:[AMIGA.FF64]IFF.ARC I rename the files when I ARC them so you copy MVCAD3::user0:[AMIGA]FRED-FISH.HELP to you area first and read about how to un-pack the ARC files. Steve Peters | |||||

Re: .0 The Fish disk doesn't have the latest IFF specs. Commodore releases an updated IFF disk about three times a year it seems like. Whenever developers get together and cook up a new IFF file for storing some new type of information, Commodore will update the distribution. Since the Fish disk, I now that the IFF format for animation was standardized. I don't know what the latest changes are. If you just want to see the IFF specs for bitmapped pictures, music, sampled sound, and the like, the Fish disk is sufficient. |
