From todays VNS: Commodore - In turnaround bid, to post about 15% jump in 3rd-period sales Commodore's chairman and CEO, Irving Gould, said sales rose about 15% in the third quarter ended March 31 from the $169.5 million posted a year earlier. In an interview, Mr. Gould also said he expects the personal computer maker's sales to rise 10% to 15% for its fiscal 4th quarter from the $190.4 million reported a year earlier. He said gains should continue at that pace or faster in fiscal 1989, pushing annual sales back over $1 billion. Mr. Gould declined to be specific about profit, but said earnings for the latest period would be "many times" the $1 million posted for the year-earlier period. {The Wall Street Journal, 6-Apr-88, p. 6}
