1308.1 | On its way (maybe!)... | SHALE::DAVIS | That's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE! | Fri Apr 08 1988 20:05 | 5 |
| Well I have a directory listing from a local BBS that shows XLISP2.ARC as
being uploaded last September. I'll download it, take a look, and upload
it to DUA2:[DAVIS.AMIGA] sometime soon.

I downloaded the xlisp2.arc file specified in one of the previous
replies; but ARC choked on each member. ARC L listem them all
with bad entries; and ARC X guru'd.
Was it my download or has anyone else had the same problem?

The same thing happened to me when I tried to deARC the little

I also tried to pull a copy of the ARC'ed 2.0 sources from an
E-net node (somebody in the XLISP notesfile has them online),
but alas niether VMS-WEEP nor ARC could make anything of their
contents.
Is there like a curse or something on XLISP 2.0 ?

1308.10 | XMODEM for STREAM_LF | LOWLIF::DAVIS | That's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE! | Wed Apr 20 1988 00:46 | 5 |
| Guys, guys, guys... ARC files in STREAM_LF format are meant to be downloaded
using XMODEM. Alternatively, you can CVTARC as mentioned in .-1. Sorry that
it created so much confusion, but XMODEM is faster so I never bother with
Kermit.

1308.11 | must be recompiled | YIPPEE::GOULNIK | OogaboogaBox type | Tue Jul 19 1988 10:24 | 10 |

I just received ManX-C and recompiled XLISP v2.0 sources that
I copied from RAINBO::WRK::[LORD.XLISP]. So I finally got all
the new features described in the v2.0 documentation, such as
FORMAT, SORT, MACRO-EXPAND, etc. which didnt work in the Amiga
version referred to in RE:.1. The only thing is AmigaStuff.C
must be edited to change NODE *s_unbound,*true,*xgetkey,*xsytem
to LVAL s_unbound,true,xgetkey,xsytem.

Are these sources still available?
