1271.0. "WANTED NETware music demos." by AYOV10::ATHOMSON (C'mon, git aff! /The Kelty Clippie) Fri Mar 25 1988 07:55

Well I've finally managed to get a loan of a modem for a week and
I will be downloading as much 'NETware' as possible over the next
few days. I've already identified many, many things to D/L but the
only means of identifying the contents of most *.ARC files is to
copy them to my VAX account 'cvtarc u' them and then read the readme
or .doc files. I've only got the modem for a week...... and there
are thousands of .ARC files out there....

I am currently doing a great job for C-A by demonstrating the Amiga
to anyone who comes within range of my house :-) but I don't have
any PD music demos.... Is there any NETware out there THAT DOESN'T
REQUIRE SMUS or SONIX to play but gives a decent (stereo) demo of
    the Amiga's sound capabilities ?

    THE NEWTEK DEMO!

It will BLOW your SOCKS off. <guaranteed>

It's actually digitized sound and lots of graphics -- two disks
worth. And every byte is a gem!
