Found this in the acm_iee notes file...Based on some of the usenet
traffic out of ulowel, and what Bob Page is trying to do with the ami
as a low cost (but high performace using co-processors) workstation,
this might be of interest...other comments???

Prof. Georges Grinstein and SIGGRAPH/NE will host an open house
to review the latest in workstation graphics research currently
in progress at the GRL. Come early for snacks and softdrinks.
