I bought an unpopulated Starboard2 last december, thinking that
the price would go down, HA! someone is doing a number on the prices
of 256K DRAMS. The march computer shopper has them listed at $3.95
for the 120nS but a call gets me a quote of $7 to $8. Can some of
you noters give prices in different countries?
as of NOW: CANADA $12.00 (CAN)
US $ 8.00 (US)
any others?
Jean

Re: .0 Since last September RAM prices have been going through the roof. Contributing factors seem to be a very strong yen and various governmental policies. I saw the price of 1meg x 1 chips jump 30% during the month of October 1987. Since September, prices seem to have gone up by 70%! So, my experience matches yours. | |||||
