1152.0. "USENET problems/questions" by LOWLIF::DAVIS (That's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE!) Tue Feb 09 1988 10:38

Hello one and all. It's time for me to ask another old question that pops
up every few weeks. Here we go: Is anyone receiving USENET news from either
comp.amiga.binaries or comp.amiga.sources?  I haven't got anything from
them for a couple of weeks. The last thing I got was the docs to ZOO 1.71,
but never the code.  :-(

BTW, I am getting comp.sys.amiga each night and YGDRSL::AMIGA_USENET seems
be in the same shape as myself.
						What's up?

    	I receive comp.sys.amiga almost everyday, but like you
    haven't received anything from binaries or source for quite
    a while.

    Aside from occasional missing articles (i.e. one part of a four-part
    posting doesn't arrive), .sources. and .binaries. arrive every few
    days. Suggest you look at the notesfile ROLL::USENET, where people
    have been complaining about sporadic problems with Macintosh and
    IBM PC binaries groups. Apparently all the bugs are not yet worked
    out of the new distributed mail scheme.

1152.4Looking better now...LOWLIF::DAVISThat's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE!Wed Feb 10 1988 11:009
Well, I recieved DASM, WIconify, and WKeys today in binaries/sources, so I
guess things may be working now. If any of you has anything from either
newsgroup from the past two weeks (especially ZOO 1.71), I would really
appreciate either mail or post a temporary pointer that I can copy it from
tonight or tomorrow.

						Thanks,
