Just a word of warning. There are two virus's flying round the UK at the moment. One just gives a GOTCHA message whilst the other will delete all fat entries/directorys on any disk installed. It resides on the boot sector and will pass itself on to any disk, which means that any game that uses the bootsector will be corrupted. Silica shop in the UK have produced a VIRUS killer program that will get rid of both of these nasties. If you need any more info on this please let me know. Regards Peter.

1104.1 | Yet another virus? | LINCON::WOODBURY | OK, now you can panic. | Tue Jan 26 1988 17:20 | 5 |
I heard a rumor at the 64 store here in Atlanta that there is another virus floating around that hides itself in the clock memory. It will not even go away if you power off the machine. I have no idea how this would work and am more than a little skeptical but I am passing on the rumor for whatever it may be worth. | |||||

There's a Rumor about Amiga aids here in Holland. I've hered the name: "Swiss Crackers Association" once or twice. According to a newspaper Commodore suspects them as a initial distributor. Just warning...... Eric. |
