1094.0. "An offer you can refuse." by AYOV10::ATHOMSON (Equal Rites) Fri Jan 22 1988 04:47
Anyone for Baseball ????
All these arc files on the network make me drool... ( no modem :-( ) and
I don't want to be a pain in the neck to anyone by continually asking them
to download for me.
My conscience is eased however as I have something to offer in return...
I recently received a game, Gamestar "Championship Baseball" as a freebie when
I joined the Commodore registered users club and.....
a) I'm not really into games. (maybe the odd adventure).
b) I'm not into baseball (It's not played a lot over here [ UK ])
c) I can't really follow the baseball terminology in the instructions.
SO....
As I don't have a modem, and I'm unlikely to get one in the near future,
this means that I can't easily avail myself of the lots and lots of goodies
on the net.
SO...
If you're into baseball, and would like the game I have, you can have your
very own (original) copy of Gamestar's "Championship Baseball" for the small
price of filling up a couple of disks with some 'goodies' for me... You
know - fun stuff like berserk, juggler (am I the only Amiga owner that's
never seen Juggler ?) demos, and other sundry "blow your sock off" stuff.
OR
Utilities - like shell (I should have Ed's starter disk anyday now so I'll
have conman, vt200, arc etc) but I unarced the shell.arc on a vax and
have been reading the doc's and I gotta have this.......
OR
What have you ?
