I just upgraded from a 1000 to a 2000, and have an Easyl graphics tablet from Anakin (or Anarkin, I can't remember...) Research. Since they offer the Easyl for the 2000 (and the 500), has anybody called them about an upgrade offer? If not, I'll call them in a few days, and post the results if anyone is interested. Replying to my own note: Called Anakin Research. (The stores I called knew about the tablet, but no upgrade path...) The number is 416-744-4246. They sell the internal card for the 2000 for $179. They will ship direct to customer, and the card plus the original cost of the tablet adds up to about what a 2000 tablet costs. They won't take the 1000 bus-end box in trade. I would probably have to buy a few feet of cable as well, since the route from the back of the Amy 2000 is quite a bit further than from the side of the 1000. | |||||
