1059.0. "Gravity Attack" by LOWLIF::DAVIS (That's not a BUG, it's a FEATURE!) Tue Jan 12 1988 01:18
Well, I went on a PD shopping spree at my local Amiga dealer and came up with
some things I _think_ you all might be interested in. Here is the first one:
Gravity Attack. It's not too bad really. Basically, you pilot a ship through
different screens to obtain "keys" that are floating around. Some screens have
a definite gravity that you must continually fire upward thrust to maintain
altitude, others have no gravity. It's at MDKCSW::DUA2:[DAVIS.AMIGA]GRAV.ARC.
Some kinks that I noticed:
o I had to run it from the original CLI. (as in Ctrl/D when workbench
screen appears and run it from there)
o When it begins loading, it asks for the Workbench disk again. After
you replace it, the drive light flickers and the screen blanks. It
never says so, but it want's the game disk again.
o Lastly, I didn't always have the correct screens at the front. I
would sometimes have to Amiga-M to get the title screen to appear.
Oh, for those of you with two drives (yes, I'm still swapping) you won't
have to worry about the second one - lucky dogs! :-)
