1056.0. "High persistence monitor and light pen" by CSSE::WARD () Mon Jan 11 1988 15:23
Well... I'm hooked on DPaint ][ and WordPerfect. Now I want a
"easy on the eye" high persist monitor for flicker-free/text
processing work. I read of such a device from a N.J. firm
(Hypertek) in the Jan issue of INFO. It's a high-persist
monochrome with a built-in lightpen port and RGB pass thru for
$129.
Now for the dilemma, While shopping I spied a nice Panasonic
(MT125 I think) on sale for $69/$89 at Lechmere with an "IBM" nine
pin connector. [Don't know if video card is needed]
Q1: Can IBM monitors be connected to the A1000 and will above
monitor deliver pixel/flicker free performance.
Q2: Can one drive two monitors with a split cable?
Q3: Is there another inexpensive solution?
P.s. I'm hoping I can use a Light Pen I saw at the Software Shop
with it.
