1054.0. "DBW_RENDER Version2" by SHIRE::GANGUILLET () Mon Jan 11 1988 11:30

    I got the famous DBW_render v2.0
This version is really better than the first one
the best thing is maybee the ability to import IFF files
    to map objects with it.

It works very well with ILBM files created by DBW_v2
But when I tried to put a standard DeluxePaint IFF file
    the program didn't like it.

    It says : NO CAMG

    Well my question is:

Is there an easy way to add a CAMG to a DP picture ?

and what is really a CAMG ?

I can't help with the first... but on the second:

The CAMG chunk was one of the last items added to the IFF spec (which is why
some early programs don't have it). It defines the modes for the picture.
It's 4 bytes long and has flags for HIRES, INTERLACE and HAM modes.

My guess is that if you read the picture into a more recent program and then
wrote it out it would probably add the CAMG chunk.

All the best,
dave

problems. How bout it dave? Where can I get this beastie. I heard
the preliminary release had no instructions. Has this been rectified?
