973.0. "Centepede?!?" by MAADIS::WICKERT (MAA DIS Consultant) Fri Dec 11 1987 23:09

    I know the Amiga is a Commodore, not an Atari but to keep peace
    in the house I have to ask this one...

    Has anyone run across a version of Centipede or Millipede for the
    Amiga? Or any commercial game that's close, or at least along the
    same lines.

    Amoeba Invaders has made a big hit but my wife is still "buggin"
    me for Centipede. She isn't one to take no for an answer, either...

    Thanks
    Ray

    Yes, Amoeba is a carbon copy of Space Invaders, with improved digital
    sound effects.

    The nice thing about Amoeba is that it will multitask nicely. You
    can blast to your hearts content during long downloads or compiles.
    I haven't ever been able to get this game to slow down!
