Awhile ago I saw a file on of the FFxx disk that could convert files from IFF format to Postscript format. I was thinking that may by I could convert DPaint files to postscript format upload them to VAX and printed on a LN03S or PS40 printservers. Has any body tried that ?? What kind of experiences have you had ?? George Spatoulas

Yes, I've tried it on the lps40 and it works! You have to play with the sizing and it won't shift it 90degrees for you but I just used it on larger paper (11x17) and sized it accordingly. It comes out great, nice for overhead slides too! Tom | |||||

The utility is called claz. I had to make a few changes to get it to run under VMS. Vax numbers are stored byte-wise in the opposite order to the way the 86000 likes to see them. If you haven't already gotten it from someone else's directory, you can get it from: ant::lib1:[smcafee.public]claz.* regards, steve mcafee BTW Notice that my disk changed from what I've stated elsewhere in this notes file. |
