the a2000 is the offical product name, BUT when used in ref to A/B means the german design...this is not being sold in this country... ALL the amiga2000's being sold in the usa are B2000's ie the westchester design....even though they are in a german box... (lots of noise on usenet over this...) Internal diffs include where the 512k of ram goes..(ie the 2nd 512k) on the motherboard, or on a seperate card, and a few other minor diffs for manufacture.... but to me...they are all great machines...now, the $64,000 ?? is to upgrade, or not....

a couple other differences: all of the A2000s reviewed in the magazines are the german design. The B2000 has a monochrome composite out RCA jack and an enhanced video slot. -dave

Besides, the *real* German version has 320/640 x 256/512 display - or 32 lines worth of text... |
