faster, i don't think so...(maybe faster, since only uses a single compression algorithm) Main advantage I see is that it stores the path (ie directory) of the file as well as the file name, and allows longer file names basically, a "Unix" version of ARC...so this does have some advantages, but nothing significant. Used quite a bit on Genie. |
