I will start a new note here as my topic is last discussed back in September, 1986. I am asking this for a friend (non-DECie) and I am not sure of the details, but I'll try. Where is a good place to buy the middle of the three models of AMIGA? (My friend is not interested in a monitor, as he has good connections for such equipment.) He's living in Western Massachusetts, but is willing to travel to Eastern Mass or even to New Hampshire to save sales tax.

757.1 | GOOD PLACE TO BUY AN AMIGA 1000 | GNEVAX::VOGEL | Wed Sep 30 1987 12:09 | 7
If what I understand you to be saying is that you want an AMIGA 1000 for your friend, they are no longer be sold as new. However, you can get a great buy through MCS Computer on a refurbished or used one. Call MCS at 1-800-433-7756, or, 1-313-427-0251, and ask for Roy. Your friend will be able to buy a 1000 for under $500. Good luck!
757.2 | used stuff cheap | ISTG::WISNER | Paul Wisner | Wed Sep 30 1987 13:19 | 7 |
ALERT!!! ALERT!!! The Software Shop just bought a fully developed Amiga system from somebody. They're selling it, it's peripherals and software real cheap. There are about 40 software packages. They said they'd sell any game for $15. I just bought the used Supra 20MB drive for $500. |
