| I have often thought about the same thing; for example, plotter
drivers for converting an application's expectation of an HP or HI
plotter into some other graphics language. Any ideas?

Just saw this question. an aplication that uses the HP/LVP16 is
MCAD. I got it off of on af the public data bases. I just got
started on it this weeked .(oct 24-25) and have had _some_
success with it. The file is copied to the SER port and
the HP/LPV16 interputes the command string.
I'm running a 2000 and using the CLI to initiate the SER copy.
I'm just getting started so there is still a few _bugs_ to work
on.
I would also like to find a driver so that I can do a screen copy
from the system to the plotter using the Amiga driver.
I'll keep it going and report here.
Good luck

consideration? Thanks for your help,

I found the need for using mCAD, and was wondering if I could
use a LVP16. Any success ? What cable did you use ? Hints ?
Thanks.
