714.0. "Need Mandelbrot programs" by COMET2::FULTON () Fri Sep 18 1987 01:59

        I am interested in obtaining sources and executables for
        programs that generate the Mandelbrot set on the Amiga.

        I see from perusing this notes file that there are three Fred
        Fish disks that contain such programs.

        If the following request is not appropriate (due to improper use
        of computer resources, not what Mr. Fish intended, or
        whatever), I apologize in advance. Please, no flames! If you
        don't want to fulfill my request, don't!

        My request is that I would like to be e-mailed (in uuencoded,
        ARCed form, possibly?) the following:

        	From DISK 90:  IMandelVroom

        	From DISK 78:  MandelVroom

        	From DISK 31:  Mandelbrot

        Thanks for any help.

    Look in JON::disk$user:[SANTIAGO.AMIGA] for MandelVroom...
    maybe I'll move it over to ROZETT::AMIGA: if I get a chance.

    Didn't even know about ImandelVroom... lordy, I miss the net.

    A couple of Canadian fellows put out a shareware Mandelbrot program
    a while back called 'MandFXP' or some such.

    They released two versions, one of which was a crippled demo for
    general distribution, and another program that allowed you to save
    interesting coordinate etc.

    This program was fast; it could do a 16-color 640 x 400 plot in
    under 1 minute.

    If your interested in the demo executable, let me know and I'll
    post it.
