Does anyone know how to access the Pro MIDI Digital Sampler through
gameport 2 from a user written application. The Sampler software
package has some limitations and I'd like to write my own interface
to this port.

ok...let me try another approach. It is possible to reconfigure
the game ports as i/o ports (4 bits per port if i'm not mistaken.)
This is done using the POTGO and POTGOR registers (documented in
the AMIGA Hardware Manual). This documentation is vague at the best.
Has anyone done any hacking around with this option?
