The Whiz in Westboro, Mass has the Amiga World "Special Issue".
Cover painting by Sachs, has a reference guide insert, a couple

formats DOS 3.3 or Prodos, catalog or display files on screen, uses
DOS 3.3 or Prodos file management commands. $49.95
Xerox full page ad for the Xerox 4020 Ink-Jet Printer. Says
it has seven distinct colors which combine to produce over 4000
different shades. no price mentioned.
NIMBUS "the first accounting program made exclusively for small
businesses using the Amiga computer". The picture of the manual's
cover has an Amiga with 3 screens. "With NIMBUS 1, all the accounting
functions are running concurrently. You just click the mouse and
move into a new function. Printing does not delay or interfere
with other funtions" "Do three things at once. Each function has
its own screen and you have instant access to each".
Creative Microsystems ad mentions the Kickstart Eliminator and five
new games Strip Poker, Sanction, Greeting to Russia, Insanity Flight,
and Swoper.

| Also, on the 2nd page in, a full-page ad for the new, improved C-Ltd
hard disk appears. C-Ltd. has finally hired an industrial designer!
The new package looks beautiful, with the SCSI adapter being the
same height and color as the Amiga, and the drive looking more like
a 1010 external floppy than an abandonded Yugo.

487.2 | Do subscribers get the special issue??? | KIRK::KYZIVAT | Paul Kyzivat | Thu May 07 1987 09:33 | 0 |

| No. There was a mailing for it a while back, sent to subscribers.
The issue does have a lot of re-printed material. I find this to
be helpful tho. Now I only hve to look through one issue to dig
up info. There are several good tips made by users.
However, for a SPECIAL issue, I thought it was pretty weak. I really
expected more. But I have to remember that it was put out by
AmigaWorld...and they usually put out a lot of slick fluff.
