    I am having trouble getting my la50 working.  I made the adapter
    to change the pin locations as noted elsewhere in this notes file
    but the printer still will not operate.  Can someone suggest which
    cable I should be using in conjunction with the adapter?
    I would like to hook the printer and modem to an A-B switch so I
    dont have to undo the connector on the rear of the system box. 
    Has anyone hooked up their printer this way..?

	re: .0 That's exactly how I use it.. remember to put your modem in "no hang up mode" so that the carrier doesn't drop when you flip the A-B to the printer. dave

	A suggestion in case you don't have an A/B switch: I have a straight through cable (extension cord) attached to my serial connector, and I have my modem and printer cables tiewrapped together. It is a quick operation to replug without moving the system. Can't beat the price. On the other hand I would still prefer an A/B switch. Anybody know where to get one cheap? Paul

	IS THERE A SPECIAL WAY TO SET THE PRINTER UP IN THE PREFERENCES WINDOW? I HAVE THE A/B SWITCH AND THE PRINTER STILL WONT WORK.
