Can you give more info on the store in NY? I've been looking, and
that is the best price I've seen. I don't want a monitor with mine.

| is that $650 for an Amiga 1000?
The reason i ask is $650 is the future list price of the Amiga 500.

| The SONY KV1311CR is on sale at Lechmere this week for $429. I have
seen it at Lechmere for $399 in the past, but the dollar/yen rate
keeps changing.

How does one hook this baby up to the Amiga? I rushed out and bought one,
having seen it on a friends Amiga. But now I don't have all the necessary
cabling. Are there any stores within an hour of Nashua which sell this?
Thanx in advance,
James

| Computer Mart (Nashua and Manchester) sell the cable. Its custom
made, but they usually have a couple in stock. I believe the price
is $50!

| Building one is trivial (I made mine for the VR241): Get a 23-pin
connector for the Amiga side, a Scart connector for the Sony side,
some coax (I used video cable that had six video coax cables combined)
and do some soldering! You need 4 pieces of coax if you use separate
cables (R, G, B and sync).
No, I don't remember the pinouts by heart!

| Cables-to-Go sells the required beast for $29.00.
They are at..
4215 N. Main St.
Suite 201
Dayton Ohio, 45405
(513) 275-0886
They sent mine out UPS red and I got it the next day.
By the way, run 'SETLACE' in 640 x 200 mode, and adjust the vertical
hold on the Sony, and you'll see the horizontal scan lines disappear.
You can get setlace from JAKE::USER2:[ACCIARDI.AMIGA]
It is a small (2k) command that I install as the first line of my
startup-sequence.
