I just picked up my new Amiga 1000 and am learning how to use it.
I did have a rainbow before that I use to run multiplan under cpm.
Is there a way to transfer these spreadsheet files to the amiga
and load them into Analyze without having to create the spreadsheet
from scratch?
thanks for any help.....steve"who_loves_his_new_amiga"

My Boss uses DBASE to move his kermit files from CPM to MSDOS
for use by Lotus. AmigaDOS 1.2 comes with an IBM <-> Amiga
file transfer utility. Here at Stow we use a C based tool
to distribute data to Robin Multiplan versions and Rainbow
(SLYK and DIF I think).
As you can see, how one works and resources (Modem, programs,
languages) can determine your approach. I use PRN files on
my Amiga Lotus look-alike.

Here is a possibility for offloading/sharing with rainbows.... Manazana Microsystems sells a 3-1/2in. Drive for IBM PC/AT/XT and compatibles. It works with MS-DOS 2.0 or later.
