There is a new Canon PJ-1080A printer driver available that supposedly
works better than the existing drivers for that printer. I have
installed it but I have not used it yet (need to reconnect printer).
There is an enterprising chap who has also come out with a new
character EPROM for the 1080A. He is selling it for $6. It features
true descenders, a normal "O" rather than the upside down "Q," and
even heights on all the lowercase letters.
Looks like a good deal for $6.
I will upload the arc'ed file tonight.

P.S. ARC V2.3 is now available. I'll put that on the system tonight

I received the new character EPROM and installed it. It works as
advertised. Good deal for the $6.00. I received it about a week
and a half after sending the check in the mail.
