Missile.arc doesn't contain the exe for missile. Everything else
downloaded ok though.
The anticipation is killing me.

Thanks for your time and effort. The FF disks are a little slow
in hitting my supplier so I'm only up to ~46 now.

I'll check the arc tonight and put up a new one if it is missing
the main missile program. The main program is called "missile".

I have fixed missile.arc . It was missing the main file. It
is at
ELWOOD::[peters.amiga.missile]missile.arc
Remember to rename explos.sound to explosion.sound .

| Steve,
Thanks for uploading missile command it works great.
I can't seem to get more than 2000. Do you understand how the
the missiles are allocated? How do the left and right mouse buttons
differ? Sometimes I seem to have a lot of missiles and other times
I run out right away.

The screen contains the standard 5 cities and two mountains.
The atackers fire missiles at all seven objects. The right and left
mouse buttons fire defense missiles from the right and left mountains.
If a city is hit it is distroyed. If a mountain is hit it loses
all it's missiles ( no more mouse button, no more defense ).
Do you load the sound files ( menue option ) ?? I think they
are the best part of the game.

| Missile is a blast. The only thing I don't like
is the yell that preceeds each wave, to the point where
I don't load the sounds.
Thanks for making it available !

378.9 | Missile woes......... | IVOGUS::BAGUE | Open the pod bay doors, HAL................ | Wed Mar 16 1988 17:20 | 4 |
| I recently downloaded Missile Command from MVCAD3 everything seems
to run OK except for one thing. When I select the menu entry for
loading sounds, it comes back with the message "unable to load sounds".
Anybody else have a problem like this?

| Try renaming Explos.sound to explosion.sound.
It did the trick for me.

Also be sure the current default directoy contains the sounds.
You might try starting from CLI to be sure of this.

378.12 | help needed with missile command | JENEVR::SNIDER | | Mon Jun 20 1988 16:57 | 7 |

I just recently pulled missile command off of notes, but I have
a problem. When ever I startup missile command, I barely see a
startup screen and then it jumps into the main game screen. After the
game starts, I fire once, and then everything freezes. No mouse movement
and I have to reboot to do anything. Could this me a hardware problem?
